7 at Avondale provides the food service on the Lake Macquarie campus and consists of both a café and cafeteria. 7 at Avondale is open to all students, staff, and community members. 7 at Avondale specialises in a range of healthy and delicious vegetarian and plant-based menu items.
Full meals are provided through a “buffet style” cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating options, or alternatively from a café menu including hot and cold beverages, fresh cooked pizzas, and other menu items.
During the mid-semester study breaks and during other periods when the number of students on campus is reduced 7 at Avondale may operate only the café subject to the number of people staying on campus or other event bookings.
Residential students use meal credits to purchase dine in or take away café items or full cafeteria meals. Other students, staff and community members can utilise our EFTPOS and credit card facilities.
