Service and Mission are a significant part of Avondale life. We believe that as Christians, it is our duty to serve not just our local but also our global community.
The STORMCo (Service To Others Really Matters) mission is to send teams of trained young people to work for, learn from and encourage individual communities; sharing God’s love by building bridges to all people through an adventure in service to others.
STORMCo is a youth initiative of the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church organised under the banner of ADRA. Avondale sends teams each year during the mid-semester break, providing opportunities for students to reach out to communities in need.
