ResearchGate - Research Gate is a social networking site for scientists and researchers to share papers, ask and answer questions, and find collaborators. The site has been described as a mash-up of “Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn” that includes “profile pages, comments, groups, job listings, and ‘like’ and ‘follow’ buttons”. Members are encouraged to share raw data and failed experiment results as well as successes, in order to avoid repeating their peers’ scientific research mistakes.

Reserve items may be borrowed in 2 hour blocks during the day for use in the Library only. Only 2 items at a time can be borrowed. Overnight loans may be borrowed from 4pm Sunday to Thursday and 12 noon on Friday for the weekend. All Reserve loans are due back 9am on weekdays or 2pm on Sunday.

Reserve items should be returned to the returns pad, rather than placing them in the returns box to avoid fines for late return. When the Library is closed you may return Reserve items in the after hours chute.
