Step 5: Check for Post-admission Requirements

Some courses have special requirements for clinical placements, professional experience, and cross-institutional study. It will help if you begin your preparations now for meeting these requirements. Refer to the course information page for specific information.

Step 6: Get Your USI

The Australian Government requires that all students in tertiary education obtain a Unique Student IdentifierClick here for instructions on how to obtain your USI.

If you are an off-shore international student (residing overseas while undertaking their program of study at Avondale), you must obtain a USI 'override code' by emailing Avondale's Connect Support team at [email protected]. The email must include your Avondale student ID number and full name.

Step 7: Fees

How you pay your fees will vary depending on what course you are studying. Payment methods vary depending whether you receive a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), get a FEE-HELP loan, or are an international student. Visit the Fees page for information on fees. Remember, scholarships may be available for financial assistance with your studies.

Step 8: Welcome Week

Welcome Week is for new and returning students. It is designed to help you make a smooth and successful transition into study at Avondale University. You will be introduced to lecturers and support staff who will journey with you through your tertiary studies. You will get an opportunity to get familiar with the campus and meet other students.
