I am the Executive Principal of Melos Education Ltd, a group of 8 Christian schools spread across NSW. I have spent 20 years as a Christian school principal in New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia and have always had an interest in the philosophy of Christian education. My interests are theology, philosophy and the practice of Christian education, gardening and watching sport. I grew up as the child of missionary parents who spent 120 years of combined full-time service in Australia and the Solomon Islands, where I was born and grew up. I had a sketchy education myself being homeschool by my mother, then 4 years in Queensland finishing primary school and starting high school, then back to the Islands where I completed high school (Y10 only). I worked for a bank for 4 years before moving to NZ where I went back to school to gain university entrance and completed a BEd and Teaching Diploma and began teaching in the public system before moving to a new Christian school. My journey since has been in Christian school across three countries.

I am married to Raema and have two boys and a girl and 5 grandchildren.
