Directors of the research centres at Avondale University lecture and research. Endowing a chair releases the directors for more research by enabling Avondale to employ casual academics to cover the lecture loading. Releasing a director for more research costs between $45,000 and $80,000 a year. Donations above $2 are tax deductible in Australia.
