The scholarship is drawn from funds donated by the Douglas Family through San Foundation at Sydney Adventist Hospital in memory of Kenneth and Vera Douglas. It is to provide financial support for a student in their second or subsequent year of the Bachelor of Nursing course, or to encourage a student with recognised performance which may be enhanced by financial support prior to their graduation. Each year a new recipient is chosen.
