On 21 March 2025, the Avondale University Campus community will step beyond its walls and into the heart of the broader community for Serve Day. This special day is all about embodying the love of Christ through practical acts of service and kindness, as students, staff, and faculty join hands to make a tangible difference.
The vision for Serve Day is simple yet powerful: to bless and uplift our community through meaningful service projects. Volunteers will roll up their sleeves for garden clean-ups, bring joy through morning tea for service personnel (including our local heroes in the Fire Brigade, Police, and other emergency services), and offer support by serving in local schools.
Serve Day is more than just a day of volunteering—it is a living expression of our faith. As our campus gathers for the Festival of Faith, the ripple effect of that gathering is felt far and wide, extending the love and hope of Jesus to our neighbors. When our campus community comes together to worship, learn, and grow spiritually, it naturally overflows into a deep desire to serve others.
By participating in Serve Day, each person becomes a vital part of sharing God’s love in practical ways, showing that when we gather for faith, we are also sent out to make a difference.
We invite everyone to join us in prayer, service, and fellowship as we prepare for a day of making a lasting impact, not just for a moment but for the eternal good of our community.
