Free MEd Micro-credential

EDUC56300 Mentoring & Education for Professional Learning

Are you mentoring a teacher education student?

We offer a free online unit (Mentoring & Education for Professional Learning) for teachers who have a Teacher Education Student from Avondale University. This unit has been designed in three modules for self-paced online learning. Each module has an assessment task that may be completed to achieve a micro-credential in mentoring and education for professional learning. You may choose to do one, two or all three of the modules and assessment tasks. Successful completion of the three modules and assessment tasks over the duration of a school year will result in credit toward the qualification of a Master of Education or Graduate Certificate of Educational Studies.
Completion of the assessment tasks is not mandatory for teachers who are mentoring a Teacher Education Student from Avondale University, unless you would like credit toward the qualification.
The completed unit is equivalent to 6 credit points toward a Master of Education (48 credit points) or Graduate Certificate of Educational Studies (24 credit points).
Lecturer: Dawn Grant-Skiba
Dawn is currently completing her PhD in mentoring and coaching at Avondale University. To find out more about accessing this free unit, contact the Course Convenor [email protected]
