Set yourself up well and purchase a good laptop. Second hand devices or very old laptops can make it much harder to study because the computer is too slow, has faulty hardware, or the software is too outdated and errors frequently.
Avondale University highly recommends using a laptop able to run Windows 11 or macOS manufactured within the past 5 years. Apple iPads tend to work well except they can't run Endnote.
A mobile phone is required to sign in.
To log into your Avondale account, you need a mobile phone, or a password manager capable of TOTP (time-based one-time passcode) authentication, such as 1Password or Bitwarden.
SMS text-message authentication is being removed as a sign-in method. If you currently rely on text messages for multi-factor authentication, set up an authenticator app or a TOTP-capable password manager before this method is switched off.
