Avondale Conservatorium: Refurbish A Piano

The 6-foot, 7-inch Yamaha C5 Conservatory Collection Grand Piano in Music Hall is the workhorse of Avondale Conservatorium. It is a well-used tool for chamber recital performances, student practice, ensemble rehearsals, lectures and piano teaching. Purchased new more than 20 years ago, the piano needs refurbishment. A new set of hammers and key bed bushings and extensive regulation will cost $7500. Donations above $2 are tax deductible in Australia.
