Library staff are not permitted to waive fines. If you believe a fine is incorrect or unfair you can appeal for the fine to be reduced or waived. Failure to receive or read library emails or failure to check My Library Record on PrimoSearch are not valid reasons for an appeal. If illness is a factor you will need to produce a doctor’s certificate.

You should provide your full name and student ID number and describe in full the grounds for your appeal.
