Lifestyle Medicine and Health Research CentreEstablished in 2013, the Lifestyle Medicine and Health Research Centre seeks to foster multidisciplinary research relating to lifestyle, health and wellbeing.
The Centre brings together academics from the various faculties at Avondale University, as well as collaborating researchers from other Australian and International institutions. Together, these researchers investigate the role of positive lifestyle in the promotion of health and wellbeing. The Lifestyle Medicine and Health Research Centre aims to produce world-leading research in the area of health and lifestyle medicine.
In addition to research, the Centre offers postgraduate courses in Lifestyle Medicine (Graduate Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine and Graduate Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine).

GivingGiving to the Lifestyle Medicine and Health Research Centre supports the study of holistic heath and wellbeing, lifestyle medicine and the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s comprehensive health strategy. Your donation will support a range of projects reducing the burden of chronic disease. These include a Complete Health Improvement Program-related project seeking to reverse type 2 diabetes. Donations above $2 are tax deductible in Australia.
