SAIL Pacific

Introduction
SAIL has been in operation since 1995 and is based in the James White Library at Andrews Univeristy. It was originally designed to provide college and university libraries affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the world assistance in:

Ordering books at more generous discounts
Ordering and accessioning periodicals
Distributing lists of surplus donated books
Providing consultation services
Document delivery

In 2001, SAIL Germany was established at Friedensau Adventist University in Germany. SAIL Germany predominately assists libraries in Eastern Europe with free book lists.

In 2006 SAIL Pacific was established at Avondale University to support the tertiary institutions of the South Pacific Division. Member libraries include:
